You need:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt (full fat if ya got it!)
  • 1/4 cup grapeseed oil

First peel the banana and puree it. Get it so that there are no lumps at all, pretty much liquid. (I know my photo shows lumps, but I put it in the blender before I used it. And now I have a Fergie song in my head. My lumps. My humps? My lady humps? I don’t really know how it goes…) If you don’t you will have pieces stuck in your hair. When it is smooth, combine all three ingredients until blended.

To use:

I applied the mask to wet hair from root to tip and then wrapped the hair in plastic wrap. After 30 minutes I rinsed as much out as possible before shampooing and conditioning as normal and rinse with cool water to seal the cuticle and add shine! For an extra benny, allow your hair to air dry to give it a break from the heat.

Why it’s awesome:

This mask is FULL of good stuff. Greek yogurt is packed full of protein and moisture, the grapeseed oil not only nourishes, but it protects your hair from heat damage AND when used on the scalp has been said to help stimulate the folical and speed hair growth!  The banana is said to smooth, defrizz and strengthen.

I found this mask while searching through internet. Hope you aquired something to appreciate on sharing with you…
